Google announced new mapping contribution for every indian that want to contribute to the local database of a perticular location through google map maker tools which allows you add detailed info say temples petrol pump etc to the map after verification. This would help improve google map for the masses. There is prizes like iphone and ipad for the top contributers. The enhanced map would increase pageviews of the google bringing more revenue to google. Beside rumours about google map going paid cannot be ignored too in the near future.
